Zac Efron’s drama flick “Charlie St. Cloud” has a mild opening at U.S. Box Office charts for the weekend. On the first weekend of showing, Universal Studios’ “Charlie” grossed a total of $12,381,585 as the #5 most-watched movie in America from July 30-August 1, only $102,000 in front of Warner Bros. “Cats & Dogs” that opened at #6. Other movie debuting the weekend, Paramount/DreamWorks comedy “Dinner for Schmucks” scored a #2 opening with $23,5 million grossed. “Inception” holds the #1 spot for a third week with $27,4 million ($193,31 million total) in the American theaters. Angelina Jolie-starring action movie “Salt” drops #2-#3 with $19,47 million grossed ($71 million total) on it’s second week. Universal Studios’ animation “Despicable Me” slips to #4 with $15,2 million grossed ($190,33 million total) after 4 weeks. Related Posts:
